World's deadliest snakes caught fighting for a female Black Mamba

According to the National Geographic,
Black mambas are fast, nervous, lethally venomous, and when threatened, highly aggressive. They have been blamed for numerous human deaths, and African myths exaggerate their capabilities to legendary proportions. For these reasons, the black mamba is widely considered the world’s deadliest snake.

So what happens when two black mambas battle?

In the video below, a couple caught on video two black mambas engaging in what experts call "plaiting" or when snakes twist around each other as they vie for dominance. This kind of ritualistic dance happens during mating season as these two male snakes are fighting for a female snake.

During these battles, these snakes battle it out, but not to the death as they usually just shove each other until one gives up and the winner then claims a female snake that is ready to mate.
