How this man created these 3D drawings is so amazing, you'll think they're real

A 35-year-old artist named Stefan Pabst, who was born in Russia but grew up in Germany, has been making waves online with his incredible works of art. Using the trompe l'oeil technique, a French term which literally translates as 'trick the eye', he creates optical illusions that look as though they are jumping off the page, as well as photorealistic portraits.

His work ranges from creepy snakes that appear as though it might just crawl towards you and strike anytime to stunning drawings that look like photographs of stars including Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley. According to him, each of his optical illusion creation takes him around three hours to complete, which have also included a glass of water and the moon as you will see in the video below.

Pabst has a Youtube channel that publishes these mindbending videos showing how he creates his 3D masterpieces as he said,
"Many artists and art enthusiasts have contacted me with questions about my painting technique, so I now upload videos of my work to the internet."
