Joining the season nine of the famous reality television singing competition, she made her family proud as she sang a beautiful rendition of "Dream A Little Dream of Me" to which three of the four judges turned their chair for her. Adam Levine, one of the coaches and the only one who didn’t turn, said that his team was full so he wasn't able to press the button and try to convince her to join Team Adam.

All four judges gave high praises not only to her voice but also her guitar skills, with Coach Blake Shelton comparing her voice to Norah Jones and Colbie Caillat. She eventually chose to join Pharrell's team.
