The difference only is that Musical.ly is limited to music whereas Dubsmash lets its users dub to famous lines from movies, TV shows and even commercials.

The Philippines' Dubsmash Queen is undoubtedly Maine Mendoza, who shot to fame after her compilation of Dubsmash videos impersonating Kris Aquino went viral with one million views overnight.

On the other hand, meet Musical.ly's viral star, Sammie Rimando. This 17-year-old girl hails from Pagadian City, Mindanao and is also a viral princess in her own right, garnering thousands of views in her videos.

However, because of the similar nature of Dubsmash and Musical.ly, many people are tagging her as the next Dubsmash Queen.
